When it comes to etiquette, manners and overall good behavior, even celebrities need help navigating the rough waters of stardom! It’s a good thing Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of the Real Housewives of New York is joining forces with OK! to school them on the right thing to do! In a rough situation, we just ask, “What Would the Countess Do?” This week the Countess weighs in on giving back expensive bling after a break-up and Dancing With the Stars!
OK! WHAT WOULD THE COUNTESS DO?: GIVING BACK THE BLING; STEPPING ON IN REALITY TV
Chris Brown appeared on the Dancing With the Stars elimination show and performed — despite having had a tantrum at ABC’s Good Morning America the week before. Do you think we should all be expected to move on from what happened between him and Rihanna, or is it understandable that some are angry he isn’t being reprimanded more, in light of his recent tantrum?
Rihanna, two years after being assaulted by Chris Brown, has softened her restraining order so that she and Chris can have contact with each other as long as he behaves. Unfortunately, Chris’s unresolved anger management issues and his tantrum in the Good Morning America studio made his past an issue again. He will never rehabilitate his image if he goes around trashing green rooms just because he doesn’t like an interviewer’s questions. Instead, he needs put his bad-boy behavior in the past, and act like the grown up he (supposedly) is.
Tip: If you want people to stop talking about your past, give them something positive to say about you in the present.
OK! WHAT WOULD THE COUNTESS DO?: TASTEFUL CELEBRATIONS; GETTING INKED UP
How do you deal with a significant other’s ex in a classy way, especially when they keep reappearing and sticking their nose into your business?
Communication is key when your current love’s ex keeps coming around, stirring things up. First, your lover needs to be clear with his or her ex that it is over and they have moved on. If your significant other won’t severe ties with the ex, there could be a reason that he or she is still hanging around…maybe the affair isn’t totally over? If your lover tries and fails to stop this person’s intrusive behavior, then you have every right to communicate to them that they need to go away and stay away.
Tip: Like the song says “you gotta be cruel to be kind, in the right measure”!
