Sunglasses in the Movie Bride Wars

Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway star in this week’s box-office hit the Bride Wars, a comedy about two friends who begin to compete over their plans for the perfect wedding. There are some great outfits, dresses and jackets in the film, not to mention sunglasses.







In Bride Wars, sunglasses appear when Kate’s character is hiding from her friend and they cover her up really well. The sunglasses are from Kaenon Polarized and are called Ivory Leila. The frame and lens colors match very well, and the gold accenting on the side is a nice touch. This over-sized frame is big and beautiful enough to fit a fashion itch, but not to over the top. A safe bet.

Bvlgari Sunglasses - Bvlgari 2009 Sunglasses 8031B 8032B Styles

Bvlgari has also been known not to shy away from the extremes of luxury and that’s the same for their 2009 sunglasses. Here we will look at two of the more outlandish styles for 2009, which summarize the Bulgari sunglasses styling.



The 8032B style has very similar detailing in the floral crystal pattern, but is a one-piece lens are has a different feel. The nose piece is very fine on it and this frame should fit on many different faces. All Bulgari sunglasses come with Swarovsky Crystal, so you are seeing the real thing here. Also retails for about $360.

Carrying on the luxurious traditions of Bulgari, the 2009 set is what I would expect from them: clean, stylish and gleaming. They didn’t go with anything incredibly risky which I might have liked, but it’s still a nice line.

Liv Tyler Sunglasses – Ray-Ban 2140 Wayfarer

Wearing what has been one of the most popular styles in the last few years, Kim Kardashian looks great in Chloe Myrte.



This oversized style looks excellent on many because of the simple rounded shape and it subtle design. Its just flashy enough for someone like her but is wearable for all. The model she is wearing is the clear crystal acetate and is one of 2009’s colorways.

Paris Sunglasses – Paris Hilton Launches Sunglass Brand

In June 2009 Paris Hilton has released her own line of sunglasses at the International Vision Expo in New York. Gripping Eyewear will be producing the sunglasses which all will boldly say, “Paris” on the temples.



Apparently there will be a large number of styles available, but we have only seen her modeling the own above, and we do not have the name for it. Its actually an interesting shape. Its almost like the temples were designed completely separately from the front of the sunglasses.

Right now there is no information on pricing, but hopefully we will get that soon.
