Here's yet one more reason to dust off your passport and fly overseas. While fashion fiends are frivolous over the news that Lanvin for H&M is indeed happening, it's been confirmed that along with clothing and accessories, the collection will include lipstick when it lands in stores on Nov. 23.

This isn't the first time Lanvin has venture into the beauty world; the French fashion house has just released its newest scent, Marry Me, in the US and Europe. But the H&M partnership is the first time that designer Alber Elbaz will put the Lanvin name on colour cosmetics. He's known for being fussy about his vision — he and makeup artist Pat McGrath have parsed the particulars of red lipstick — and for preferring a woman to look smart over sexy. We're hoping Lanvin's limited-edition lipstick might provide a little bit of both.

Forty of the world's models, including Coco Rocha, Jessica White and Michelle Alves donned a limited-edition Nine West boot with a built-in pedometer. Models kick off the Runway Relief program in the Meatpacking District for the campaign and to raises funds for breast-cancer awareness.

Until Sept. 16, Jones Apparel Group Inc., the parent company of Nine West, will give $10 to the Council of Fashion Designers of America's charitable organization Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

A small number of the $199 boots will be available for purchase at Nine West's Fifth Avenue store and on the company's Face book page.

Jones Apparel Group estimates that it will raise more than the expectation, Chief Marketing Officer Stacy Lastrina could only say, "We have no idea what $10 a mile is going to turn into. I'm verklempt!" The company is expecting at least $75,000, but Stephen Kolb, executive director of the CFDA, said: "I'm sure it's going to be a lot more than that."

Taylor Momsen praises 'normal' Madonna

Taylor Momsen says Madonna was just a ''normal person'' when she met her after agreeing to be the face of her Material Girl fashion line.

The actress-and-singer is the face of the pop superstar's clothing label Material Girl and she insists when she first met Madonna she was nothing like the difficult diva she is often portrayed as.
Referring to the 'Celebration' singer's 13-year-old daughter Lourdes - who Madonna worked on the range with - by her pet name, Taylor said: 'Lola had been all day working with me and then Madonna came in. She shook my hand and was just so normal.
'People forget that, she's just a normal person and she was very polite and nice.'
Taylor is struggling to accept her status as a fashion icon, and admits she is also finding it tough to get to grips with English clothes.
The 17-year-old star - who signed to IMG Models when she was 14 and fronts rock band The Pretty Reckless - added in an interview with UK station Radio 1: 'I keep getting told I'm a fashion icon, but I'm not really sure what that means.
'Also you guys in England have different words for clothes over here.
